Irish & Salsa Summer Dance Sensation Fundraiser

Get your dancing shoes on and get down to the Irish & Salsa Summer Dance Sensation at the Clarion Hotel on August 19^th. The night kicks off at 9pm with Jigs’n’Beats , Sligo Latin Dance and dancing to Salsa and 70s music ‘til late. Tickets cost €10 and all proceeds are going to North West Hospice. Permanent Clinical Nurse Manager 1 Required

A vacancy exists for a Permanent Clinical Nurse Manager 1 at our North West Hospice In-patient Unit in Sligo.
The post is funded by North West Hospice Ltd.

Essential Criteria:

Applicants must be registered or be eligible to register in the General Division with An Bord Altranais.
Minimum of 5 years post-registration experience with 2 years minimum in a relevant area of practice (Palliative care or Oncology nursing).
Hold/willing to work towards a Higher Diploma in Palliative Care Nursing or equivalent.

North West Hospice Shop Now Open in Carrick-on-Shannon

North West Hospice is delighted to announce that we have opened a charity shop at Unit 2, The Market Yard, Carrick-on-Shannon.
We are appealing for high-end women’s clothes, handbags, fascinators, hats, jewellery, etc., worn once or with the tags still on. Do you have formal wear or occasion outfits that you no longer need? Do you want to clear out your wardrobe and help your local hospice too?
If so then please donate your items to our new charity shop in Carrick-on-Shannon open Monday to Saturday from 10.30am – 4.30pm.
Donations will also be accepted at the Hospice Centre, Adelaide Centre, Wine St Car Park, Sligo Mon-Fri 9.00am-5.00pm. Tel:071-9170523.
We do not require men’s or children’s clothes or toys at this time. Due to limited space and Health & Safety Guidelines, we regret that we cannot take items such as electrical goods.
