North West Hospice would like to invite you to our annual Light-up-a-Life event which will take place on Saturday December 2nd at 5pm in our Garden of Memories at Cleveragh Park, Sligo when the lights on our Memory Tree will be lit for the Christmas Season. Everyone is welcome so please come and join us and let’s remember those we have loved and lost this Christmas, together.
Music will be provided by Kieran Quinn and Aileen Concannon and people will get the opportunity to remember their loved ones by candlelight.
At Christmas time our thoughts often turn to those who are no longer with us to share the festive season. As December draws ever closer, it’s easy to get lost in the busy festive period. It is an important time, but also a difficult one for many, and through Light-up-a-Life, we can come together to remember and celebrate their lives. We are delighted to be able to bring people together again this year at our Light-up-a-life service in our Garden of Memories in Sligo on Saturday December 2nd at 5pm.
This event will give people the chance to pause, reflect, remember their loved ones, and celebrate their lives. There will be music by candlelight, with reflections for the festive season. The highlight of the evening will be when the lights on our Memory Tree are switched on for the festive season.
Light-Up-a-Life is for everyone who has someone they wish to remember at this special time of year. Even if your loved one was not a patient at our Hospice, you are welcome to come and join us for this very special event.
The Memory Tree is located in the Hospice Garden of Memories at Cleveragh Park, Sligo (opposite the Regional Sports Complex) and there is lots of parking.
You can sponsor a light on the North West Hospice Memory Tree in memory of a loved one. Each light costs just €5 and will shine throughout the festive season. You may record a memory of your loved one in the Hospice on-line book of treasured memories Sponsor a light here
