Radio Bingo

The North West Hospice Radio Bingo commenced in 2016. The administration of Radio Bingo on behalf of North West Hospice is operated by Ocean FM. North West Hospice receives a percentage of the revenue generated from Radio Bingo and also gains extensive airtime and brand awareness which has also benefitted and supported our other much needed fundraising campaigns. In 2018 Radio Bingo contributed €63,000 to North West Hospice. This money goes directly to providing essential palliative care services to the communities of Sligo/Leitrim/South Donegal and West Cavan. North West Hospice is required to raise approximately in excess of €1.3 million through fundraising each year to run our services. The €63,000 generated in 2018 equates to employing a Clinical Nurse Specialist on our Community Palliative Care team for a whole year.

The North West Hospice would like to thank Ocean FM for the successful administration of the Radio Bingo and for their on-going support in promoting our fundraising campaign. We would also like to thank you the general public for continuing to support Radio Bingo and North West Hospice.

Radio Bingo books are available in our North West Hospice office in Wine Street Car Park, Sligo and in many outlets throughout the North West.

The Radio Bingo is carried out under a licence issued by Sligo District Court to North West Hospice. For further details on the licence, please contact Sligo District Court at (071) 9142228.

Testimonials

"Thank you for looking after our Mum so well. We won't forget you when we think of Mum, too."

"From the time he was diagnosed as terminal the Northwest Hospice were fantastic in providing support not only to Aidan but to us as a family. From the palliative care team that called on a regular basis to our home to help relieve the agonising pain he suffered with, to the respite facilities he utilised in the hospice itself; the hospice staff always provided an invaluable service. This service was always delivered with a smile, humour when appropriate and most importantly constant caring and professionalism. Our family could not speak highly enough of the North West Hospice Team."

"Just to say thank you so much for being our friend and our support during Seamus's illness. There were days when we felt down and your visit was like a breath of fresh air. So continue your great work. You will always have a place in our hearts"
